Emperor takes pride of place on sales floor

CORPORATE gifts come in all shapes and sizes.

Some clients give you free sports tickets. Other hampers.

And some…

…well some give you 6ft terracotta replicas of Chinese emperors from 2,200 years ago.

Staff at Dextra Solutions – the accessories division of 20:20 Mobile group – were delighted to be sent an utterly unique gift in the ample shape of a life-size replica of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang as a “thank you” from their Chinese customer Uniserve.

In a letter to the Crewe-based mobile phone accessories distributer Uniserve said:

"The Uniserve Group is proud to have worked with Dextra Solutions Ltd and as recognition of the esteem in which we hold your organisation and the value we place on your personal support, [we] would like to offer you something unique that I believe reflects many aspects of our relationship."

"Uniserve would be honoured if you would accept a replica Terraqcota Warrior as a token of our appreciation."

Dextra Managing Director, James Browning, said:

"Certificates and trophies are all very welcome but this gift really is a showstopper – a true one-of-a-kind."
